His dam, Benatton, was purchased by WestWool Alpacas in 1993, from the first import of Peruvian alpacas into North America, when she was two years old. Her early offspring won lots of ribbons for Northwest Alpacas including the a blue ribbon for Produce of Dam at 1998 AOBA conference.
